Fluidic Systems Integrates ProWorks Software
ORANGE COUNTY, CA – March 14, 2013 – Fluidic Systems installed and implemented ProWorks Software from Everett Charles Technologies to streamline manufacturing process.
Fluidic Systems is a manufacturer of precision, multicomponent, metering and dispensing equipment that is used in Aerospace and Military applications where a precise amount of material must be dispensed with extremely accurate mix ratios (typically better than 1% accuracy). To meet these stringent requirements, Fluidic systems are engineered with complex PLC logic and servo controlled pumps with feedback sensors that analyze inlet and output pressures, pump positions and operations, as well as continuous providing ratio monitoring and control.
We initially implemented Everett Charles Technologies’ work instruction software, ProWorks, to help us streamline our own manufacturing process. ProWorks has increased our quality and lead times with unprecedented improvements in our manufacturing consistency,” said Randy Crockett, Director of Engineering and Operations for Fluidic Systems.
“Where ProWorks really excels for us, however, is that it provides us with a very quick and easy way to integrate Help into our touch screen terminal. We can now provide very extensive trouble-shooting and diagnostics to our customers, with very little effort on our part. We didn’t need to hire a programmer to build these tools for us because we were already using the very same trouble-shooting routines in our manufacturing processes; we simply exported them from our in-house servers and embedded them into our own software. This gives our customers the power to solve their own issues without picking up the phone and calling our technicians. ProWorks has provided us with added value that exceeds our expectations. “
Fluidic designs, manufactures and markets precision metering dispensing and spray systems. Fluidic systems are available for processing 1, 2, 3, and 4 or more component material formulations for manual and robotic, spray or dispense applications. Founded in 2000 and headquartered in Orange County, CA, Fluidic serves a wide variety of markets, including general industrial, electrical and electronic, automotive, and military/aerospace industries.
